Mr. Rajib Sharma, Ediroial Asst. of The bdnewstimes, who was reported in the minority group of Bangladesh name of Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajote (BJHM) unveiled a report about atrocities against religious minorities in the country this year at a press conference at Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka.
A total of 88 minority people were killed and more than a thousand were tortured allegedly by influential people last year, Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajote (BJHM) said in a report in the Press Conference -2018.
Adv. Govinda Chandra Pramanik, secretary general of the alliance, alleged that a total of 20,734 acres of land belonging to the minority groups in the country were grabbed this year by the influential quarters.
Placing a three-point demand, Pramanik urged to the political parties to stop the atrocities against the minority people.
The alliance also threatened to boycott the national election if its demands were not included in the manifestoes of the political parties.
The three-point demand includes allocating 50 reserved seats in the parliament for minority groups, creating a separate ministry and an independent commission for them.They didn’t received our point, Not gave us any safeguard rules because minority isn’t human, They are as dolls or things of mejority muslim’s eyes.
