Today two days International Expo ,summit and fair organized by DScE ended at the Dhaka School of Economics own auditorium.In the closing session Mohammad Ismail, Chairman of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank said that bankers are interested to give loan to the good businessmen.He advised that business must be based on high morality.He also argued that the country achieved higher progress which was not seen at his childhood time.
he was addressing as special guest of the closing ceremony.In the two days seminar around 37 papers were present from home and abroad.
As per popular vote the debate team of East west University got highest support though Champion was Shere bangla Agricultural University debate team became champion on the basis of judge panel.In the two days programme 7 HSC/A level excellent student won the best student prize and 7 young entrepreneurs were chosen on the basis of their elevator pitch by the jury board led by Md.Jamal Hossain,President,Entreprenurial Economists club.
In the concluding remarks session chair economist and entrepreneurial expert Prof.Dr.Muhammad Mahboob Ali put emphasis on entrepreneurship development in the medical sector to develop inbound medical tourism and more specialized doctor and nurses in the country so that public can get rid of small no. of specialized doctors who create maphia nexus and some doctors even per month income is BDT 1.5 crore and NBR never dare to touch them.They are gambling in the health sector.
Dr.Qazi Kholiquzzamn Ahmad said that one of the greatest desire of the Dhaka School of Economics is to develop employability skill human resources so they are offering masters of Entrepreneurship Economics programme ,Post graduate Diploma in Enterprise development and Bachelor of Entrepreneurial Economics programme besides other 7 economics related programmes.Dr.Ireen Akther said that lot of unsuccessful entrepreneur died with pain as their ideas cannot be implemented.Former Professor of University of Dhaka of Dept. of management studies Md.Mohiuddin,Managing Director of Q-Pial Syed Nasir,Rehana parvin,Assistant professor, and Sara Tasneem,Assistant professor,DScE,Dr.Tajul Islam Chowdhury also spoke in this occasion.Best paper award goes for Dr Yashoda Durge titled ” Entrepreneurship Ecosystem”,GNVS Institute of Management, Mumbai
