Indian police launched a drive to arrest Muslim protesters


International Desk: Indian Muslims massacred in the murder of Muslim youth Tabrez Ansari after the Hindutva slogan in Jharkhand in India.

Even after two weeks of the incident, protests continue in many places in India in protest of this brutal killings. But police reportedly attacked Muslims in several areas including Gujarat and Surat. Besides, Muslim youths have also been arrested.

In the news media of the Indian News News Aitin, it is said that police are clashing with Muslims protesting in Surat’s Nanpura area on Friday. A few rounds of bullets were also carried out alongside tear shells to disperse protesters.

Surat police spokesman told News Aitin, on Friday, an organization of local Muslims sought permission for a procession to protest the killing of Tabrez Ansari. But police did not allow them. Because they said that Tabrez’s assassination did not happen in Surat or Gujarat. So there is no need for protest here.

Later on Friday, the organization took out a procession without police permission. A large number of Muslim youths took part in this.

Clashes erupted after protesters stopped the police. Police fired tear gas shells and blank bullets to bring the situation under control. Several Muslim youths were arrested at this time.
Police claimed that four policemen were injured in the brothels of Muslims.
